The Caron Foundation
Caron recognizes that many addicts often struggle with a package of coexisting addictions which reinforce each other and frequently lead to chronic relapses. If left untreated, these compulsive behaviors result in progression of the disorders as they interact with each other in a continuous manner. Quality addiction treatment should be patient-centered and tailored to the specific needs of each individual. The process begins with the admission to the center, full review of the patient’s medical history and any presently existing conditions. The entire interdisciplinary team is involved to alleviate any signs of further mental deterioration or health decline. The entire process is closely monitored by highly trained professionals and many steps are taken to accelerate the speed of recovery when appropriate. Regular assessments and personal surveys are implemented to lead the patient to sobriety in a clam and nurturing environment. Post-recovery therapies are applied to help with recuperation and often include involving friends and family.
